Orbital Welding Equipment Repair Center

Have you ever had a vital piece of equipment go down in the middle of a job? With deadlines approaching, broken or malfunctioning equipment can create financial strain and cause stress on your project.

MIT Inc. understands the demanding nature of industrial settings and has invested in its expansive orbital welding repair center and rental fleet to combat situations like these. Our services make the process of getting your job back up and running as painless as possible.

MIT Inc. has one of the largest orbital repair centers in the United States. We are an authorized and certified repair center for both Arc Machines Inc. and Magnatech orbital welding equipment. This means our full-time service technicians have been trained by factory manufacturers to accurately diagnose and repair equipment back to factory specifications.

Give our qualified technicians a call to discuss the issues you are having. They will be able to quickly recommend a fix or decide if your equipment needs to be sent to our facility for repairs. If sending in your equipment is recommended, you will be provided a repair estimate within 48 hours after the equipment has been received.

Our repair center is not limited to repairing orbital weld heads, power supplies, and water coolers. Our capabilities also include repairing orbital saws and facers such as GF, Axxair, E H Wachs, Tri-Tool, and T+C. The MIT repair center supports Tip Tig and Mathey Dearman equipment as well.

Whether your weld head won’t return home, you dropped your orbital saw, or you need to get your power supply calibrated for a job, MIT has the knowledge and resources to get your equipment problems solved in a timely manner.

Constant Communication

After sending in your equipment, you can expect to stay informed throughout the entire repair process. We have implemented a 5-Point Personal Touch program that our sales and service department use to reach out to customers.

  1. Initially, you will be issued an RMA number when you decide to send in your equipment
  2. We will reach out to you when we receive your equipment at our facility
  3. Once your equipment is estimated, we will call and talk over the estimate to see if you would like to proceed with the repair
  4. We will call once the repair is complete and will verify the address you want us to return it to
  5. We will follow up a couple of weeks later to make sure the equipment is still working properly

Pair with Rental Equipment

Do you have a job in a couple of weeks? Or multiple pieces of equipment to keep production going? Schedule a time to send in malfunctioning equipment to be worked on in advance.

Unfortunately, sending equipment in advance isn't always possible. A key industrial tool may go down in the middle of a job and put you in a bind. To help combat downtime, MIT maintains a wide variety of orbital welding and cutting equipment in our rental fleet. This ensures that our customers can continue work while their equipment is being repaired. Before they go out, our tools are carefully inspected, calibrated, and tested to guarantee maximum efficiency.
