Introducing the Cohog | Split Frame Pipe Cutting Machine

MIT is proud to now offer ESCO Tool’s latest line of products, Cohog Split Frame Machines. The Cohog is a clamshell pipe cutting machine that is designed to provide a new standard in durability, performance and ease-of-use. The Cohog line of tools can quickly cut and bevel pipe up to 20”.

The difference lies in its uniquely built frame, self-squaring clamp legs, indexable tool slides and modular blade system. The rotating and stationary ring frame design is constructed out of the strongest aluminum obtainable and creates smooth cuts on any material of pipe. Mounting is made simple with clamp legs and extensions, while the modular tool slides use blade inserts that make more cuts at a lower cost than traditional clamshell blades. Trip Mechanism

Trip mechanism features a marked, pin location system that matches all tool slides making set up fast and simple. Brackets keeps hands away from all moving parts.

 

 

Modular Tool Slides

Tool slides are virtually maintenance free and require no adjustments. A variety of sizes are available for space restricted applications.

 

 

Motor Options

Powerful pneumatic, hydraulic and electric motor options are available and can be mounted in different orientations depending on the clearance.
